Most of us find that there are times in our lives when we are not sure where to turn for help. The cause of distress may be plain, for example loss, trauma, relationship problems or issues at work. At other times the causes are less obvious, but the feelings may be just as painful.

Friends and family may be supportive, but it can help to talk to someone who is objective and professional.

INTRODUCTION
ABOUT ME

I am a fully qualified and insured counsellor. I am a member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC.)

We will work together in a completely safe and confidential environment to try to think through and make sense of how you are feeling.

I use the Psychodynamic approach to counselling. You can read more about what this means by clicking here

HOW TO DECIDE WHETHER TO GO AHEAD?

We will meet for an initial session or two. This will allow you to tell me a bit about yourself and what brings you to counselling as well as what you hope to gain from coming. We can then decide whether we are happy to work together. In this case, we will set up a regular weekly time to meet for a 50-minute session.

I HAVE HELPED PEOPLE WITH MANY ISSUES INCLUDING:
  • Anxiety

  • Relationship issues

  • O.C.D.

  • Abuse

  • Self-harm

  • Depression
